It is estimated to have 22 million students that are currently enrolled in both public and private schools all over the country barely months before the new school year starts in October.

The school has conducted a dry run on the different learning modalities last August 3-14, 2020. A child participant from the Kindergarten does the different activities in the Kindergarten Learning Packet.
"The school opening will not necessarily mean traditional face-to face learning in the clasroom. The physical opening will depend on the risk severity grading or classification of a certain community pursuant to guidelines from the Department of Health (DOH), the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases in the Philippines and the Office of the President (OP).”
The learning delivery modalities that schools can adopt may be one or a combination of the following, depending on the COVID-19 restrictions and the particular context of the learners in the school or locality.
Traditional Face-to-Face Learning
This refers to a learning delivery modality where the students and the teacher are both physically present in the classroom, and there are opportunities for active engagement, immediate feedback, and socio-emotional development of learners.
Distance Learning
This is a learning delivery modality where the learning takes place between the teacher and the learners who are at remote locations from each other during the instruction. The modality has three types: Modular Distance Learning (MDL), Online Distance Learning (ODL), and TV/Radio-Based Instruction.
