Sabang Elementary School started its first operation in 1903 with only two teachers, with a population of 23 pupils. It became a haven of education in the south area of the Municipality of Danao.

A century had passed, the school, manifested a great improvement. It offeres educational innovations governed by the Department of Education and strictly abide the Rules of a Child Protection Policy and a Child-Friendly School. The school concentrates not only in academic knowledge, skills and competence. It also cares in non-academic particularly in sports. Pupils were trained to become holistic well-being.
